A quiet beginning…
Clare’s Light began quietly on a long drive of contemplation and prayer, as a response.
Over time, I found myself drawn to the Christian witness of Sr. Clare Crockett, Servant of God. Her joy was simple and unguarded. She gave herself freely, especially to children and young people who were often overlooked. Her life continues to remind me that love does not need scale to be real.
Clare’s Light is about paying attention. About noticing. About choosing to believe that even the smallest acts of care matter.
This initiative is held in twofold dedication: to Sr. Clare Crockett, Servant of God, and to Clare, dearest moon, whose light rests in hopeful memory.
What this looks like
For now, Clare’s Light works on a small scale. It listens first. It responds when able, and where possible. It offers modest help and accompaniment through trusted relationships, especially for the education of children in southern India who are in need.
Clare’s Light is not yet a registered nonprofit. It is a humble personal initiative, carried forward with care, love, and responsibility.
